In a tragic turn of events, Abhay Pratap Singh, the 23-year-old nephew of BJP leader Ram Abhilakh Singh, was shot dead during a heated altercation outside a restaurant in Payagipur, according to police reports.

The incident unfolded when a scuffle between two youths over a minor disagreement escalated dramatically, leading one youth to fatally shoot Singh, who resided in Pakri village. Friends rushed him to a hospital where he was declared dead.

Superintendent of Police Somen Barma confirmed that the incident stemmed from a personal dispute. He assured that thorough investigations are underway and efforts are being made to apprehend the suspects involved.
