Heroin Bust in Arunachal Pradesh: Two Women Arrested
Two women were arrested in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district for possession of suspected heroin worth Rs 2.8 lakh. Police, acting on a tip-off, raided the residence in Khonsa and seized 28.9 grams of heroin. The accused are from Lazu village and have been charged under the NDPS Act, 1985.

Two women were arrested in Arunachal Pradesh's Tirap district following the seizure of suspected heroin worth Rs 2.8 lakh from their possession, police announced on Tuesday.
Acting on a tip-off, a state police team, along with the 36th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force, raided the suspects' residence in Khonsa on Monday. Tirap Superintendent of Police Singjatla Singpho reported that 28.9 grams of suspected heroin were recovered from the accused.
The suspects, hailing from Lazu village, have been charged under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, and an investigation is underway, the SP added.
