Delhi BJP Slams AAP Celebration of Nair and Kumar's Bail
Delhi BJP spokesperson Amit Tiwari criticized AAP for celebrating the bail of Vijay Nair and Bibhav Kumar, stating they will still face trial and likely conviction. The Supreme Court granted bail to Nair in a money laundering case and to Kumar in an assault case. Tiwari emphasized that bail should not be seen as a reflection of the case's merit.

Delhi BJP spokesperson Amit Tiwari criticized AAP for prematurely celebrating the bail of Vijay Nair and Bibhav Kumar, asserting that they will face trial and likely conviction.
The Supreme Court earlier granted bail to former AAP communication in-charge Nair in a money laundering case linked to the now-defunct Delhi excise policy 2021-22. Nair was jailed for nearly 23 months.
The apex court also granted bail to Bibhav Kumar, aide to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in the Swati Maliwal assault case, noting his 100-day custody. Tiwari stressed that bail is a judicial process step and should not be construed as a case victory.
