RSS Demands Reforms for Swift Justice and Self-Defense Training After Kolkata Incident

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has decried the recent violent attack on a female doctor in West Bengal, emphasizing the urgent need for legal reforms and accelerated justice for women affected by such atrocities.
Speaking at a press conference after the 'Samanway Baithak' conclave, Sunil Ambekar, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, labeled the incident as 'very unfortunate' and 'alarming'. He advocated for self-defense training for women at all educational levels and workplaces to empower them against similar threats.
Ambekar further highlighted that a comprehensive approach involving legal action, public awareness, family values, and education is essential to address the increasing instances of violence against women, exacerbated by media content. The conclave called for fast-track procedures to deliver justice and emphasized accountability in governance.
