Police in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district have registered cases against BJP MLA Nitesh Rane for his provocative speeches threatening Muslims. Rane addressed two public meetings in Shrirampur and Topkhana, supporting Hindu seer Mahant Ramgiri Maharaj.

In a viral video, Rane can be heard warning, "We will enter your mosques and hit you one by one," if anyone opposes Maharaj. Two FIRs have been filed against Rane, a senior police official confirmed Monday.

AIMIM spokesperson Waris Pathan shared the video on X and urged Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis to arrest Rane, accusing the BJP of inciting communal violence ahead of state elections.
