A Saudi-owned vessel has been attacked in the Red Sea, according to two sources familiar with the incident who spoke to Reuters on Monday.

Currently, it remains unclear if the vessel was targeted by Iran-aligned Houthi militants.

Earlier, British maritime agencies reported that a merchant ship was struck by a drone approximately 50 nautical miles from Yemen's Red Sea port of Hodeidah, located just south of Saleef.
