While no casualties have been reported, the area was cordoned off by army personnel and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of the local police for a thorough investigation. The incident is reminiscent of a February 2018 attack on the Sunjuwan military camp that resulted in the deaths of six soldiers, a civilian, and three terrorists.
