Man Dies in Vasant Kunj Building Fall: Police Investigate

A 64-year-old man, Umesh Upadhyay, died after falling from a height while inspecting renovation work in his building in Vasant Kunj, Delhi. Despite being rushed to the Indian Spinal Centre, he succumbed to his injuries. Police have initiated postmortem and legal proceedings.

A tragic accident in southwest Delhi's Vasant Kunj area has resulted in the death of a 64-year-old man. The incident occurred as he was inspecting renovation work in his building on Sunday, police reported.

The deceased, identified as Umesh Upadhyay, fell from the fourth floor to the second floor at approximately 10:30 am. He sustained severe head injuries and multiple other wounds.

Despite being quickly transported to the Indian Spinal Centre around 11 am, Upadhyay succumbed to his injuries later. Authorities have initiated postmortem and legal proceedings as the investigation continues.
