Seven Detained for Illegal Entry into Tripura
Seven individuals, including five Bangladeshis and two Rohingyas from Cox's Bazar, were apprehended in Tripura for entering the state without valid documents. Police actions based on a tip-off led to the arrests in separate locations, revealing plans of illegal migration facilitated by suspected Indian touts.

Authorities in Tripura apprehended seven individuals, consisting of five Bangladeshis and two Rohingyas, for entering the state without proper documentation. Acting on a tip-off, Government Railway Police detained two people at Agartala station, who later admitted to being from Cox's Bazar Rohingya camp, a senior officer revealed.
'Ramzan Ali and Azida Begum crossed the international border and planned to travel to Kolkata by train,' stated Tapas Das, Officer-in-Charge of Agartala GRP Police Station.
In a separate incident, five Bangladeshi nationals and two suspected Indian touts were arrested in Dhalai district. All Bangladeshi individuals hail from Moulvibazar and Sylhet districts. According to a BSF official, the Bangladeshi nationals lacked valid documents, and the Indian suspects are allegedly involved in facilitating illegal migration.
