Delhi Police Arrest 18 in Nationwide Cyber Fraud Crackdown
Delhi Police have arrested 18 individuals from 12 locations across India for their involvement in cyber frauds. A specialized cyber unit conducted raids across six states, solving seven major fraud cases. The operation uncovered 148 complaints, leading to the seizure of various electronic items and Rs 35 lakh.

Delhi Police officials announced on Friday the arrest of 18 individuals from 12 locations, including Mewat and Jamtara, in connection with alleged cyber frauds.
A specialized cyber unit from Delhi Police's southwest district executed a pan-India operation, cracking seven significant cases of stock market investment fraud, cheating via Telegram, and using fake customer care numbers, a statement revealed.
The raids took place in several states, highlighting the widespread nature of the problem. The police seized 42 mobile phones, 21 SIM cards, six ATM cards, two fake Aadhaar cards, and Rs 35 lakh, linked to 148 complaints lodged at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
