Zelenskiy Urges Western Allies for Long-Range Attacks on Russian Bases
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has renewed his appeal to Western allies for authorization to conduct long-range strikes on Russian military air bases. This urgency follows a deadly Russian bomb attack in Kharkiv, which claimed the lives of four individuals. Zelenskiy argues that such attacks could be prevented if Ukrainian forces had the capability to neutralize threats at their origin.
President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has reiterated his call for Western allies to sanction long-range assaults on Russian military air bases. This comes in the wake of a devastating Russian airstrike that killed at least four people in Kharkiv on Friday.
"A strike like this could have been avoided if our defence forces had the means to destroy Russian military aircraft at their origins," Zelenskiy stated on Telegram.
The renewed plea underscores Ukraine's escalating need for enhanced military capabilities to safeguard its cities from ongoing Russian aggression.
