Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena distributed 627 appointment letters to new recruits of the Delhi government and Delhi Development Authority, including 27 doctors, during a ceremony at Vigyan Bhawan.
Saxena noted that the Delhi State Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (DSSSB) expedited the recruitment process and plans to fill another 20,000 government vacancies by March 2025, addressing the significant vacancy issue in various departments.
In a post on X, Saxena reaffirmed the commitment to ending ad hocism in government jobs and fostering opportunities for eligible candidates in a transparent manner. The DSSSB has made over 17,000 permanent recruitments in the last two years, surpassing the appointments made in the previous decade.
