According to a statement from the ministry, the SHe-Box portal signifies a substantial advancement in the government's continuous efforts to protect women in the workplace. The launch event held in Delhi also saw the introduction of a revamped ministry website.

The portal will act as a centralized repository for information related to internal committees and local committees across the country, encompassing both the government and private sectors. It allows women to file complaints, track their status, and ensures timely processing of grievances. Featuring a designated nodal officer for real-time monitoring, it promises a streamlined and assured redressal process.

In her address, Minister Annapurna Devi highlighted the initiative's role in creating a secure and inclusive working environment for women, noting that it is a significant step forward in efficiently addressing workplace-related sexual harassment complaints. This initiative aligns with the government's vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047, emphasizing women-led development.
