Narender Mann, accused in a 2018 murder case, has been granted bail by a court after spending six years in custody. The decision came as the court acknowledged the lengthy process ahead, with 37 witnesses yet to be examined.
Additional Sessions Judge Babru Bhan, who oversaw the case, emphasized the court's ability to take a broad overview of the evidence at hand. He noted that a witness placed Mann at the scene, but another witness contradicted this claim.
The court ultimately decided to release Mann on a personal bond and surety bond of Rs 25,000 each, with conditions including not tampering with evidence or influencing witnesses, and regularly attending the trial.
