The Centre is set to unveil a new simplified pension application form for retiring employees on Friday, according to an official statement.

The Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) announced that 'Form 6-A', released via a notification on July 16, 2024, will be available in Bhavishya/e-HRMS online modules for central government employees retiring from December 2024 onwards.

This new form, which merges nine previous forms/formats, aims to simplify the submission process for employees through a single sign-on and fully digitize the pension processing, ultimately supporting paperless operations.
