Russian Forces Capture Key Villages in Eastern Ukraine

Russian forces captured two villages in eastern Ukraine - Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region and Mykolaivka in the Donetsk region, according to Russian news agencies on Thursday, citing the Defence Ministry.

In a morning update, Ukraine's General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces were actively repelling attacks in the area of Stelmakhivka.
