Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday urged ministers and bureaucrats to engage in broad consultations to ensure efficient execution of policies, particularly those aimed at aiding women and the poor, sources disclosed.
During a comprehensive five-hour session with his Council of Ministers, Modi stressed the need for swift and clear communication of government decisions, and emphasized the importance of social media responsiveness to portray a proactive government, they revealed.
Outgoing cabinet secretary Rajiv Gauba presented key government decisions since June, while officials outlined infrastructure plans for 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047 and youth skilling improvements. The prime minister reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining development momentum, urging ministers to leverage platforms like Gatishakti and Mission Karmayogi for infrastructure and skilling goals.
