The Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in Pune has postponed a decision until September 26 on whether to treat a teenage driver in the Kalyaninagar Porsche crash case as an adult.

Additionally, hearings regarding the release of the impounded Porsche and the minor's passport have been deferred. According to a police officer, the adjournment was requested to allow for the filing of a response to the defence's applications for property release.

The defence contends that the minor should not be tried as an adult because the crime does not qualify as 'heinous.' The crash occurred on May 19, resulting in the deaths of two IT professionals, including a young woman. Initial bail was granted but later revoked pending a high court decision. The juvenile has complied with all bail conditions.
