Eleven of these officers have been transferred to the General Administration Department (GAD) and are currently awaiting new assignments. Most officers affected belong to the 2019 and 2020 batches, indicating a broader strategy to utilize younger administrative talent in key roles.

Notable changes include Sumit Kumar being appointed as the new deputy development commissioner (DDC) of Bettiah and Preeti taking over as the city commissioner of Bhagalpur. Other significant appointments include Yatendra Kumar Pal, newly assigned as Saran DDC, and Shreshta Anupam from the 2020 batch becoming the new Muzaffarpur DDC. This reshuffle aims to invigorate the administrative functions across various regions in Bihar.
