The incident came to light when a 13-year-old girl refused to attend his tuition classes. Upon questioning, she revealed the teacher's inappropriate behavior. This revelation mobilized the parents and local citizens to confront the tutor violently.
Senior Inspector Vijay Pawar of the Virar police station confirmed that the teacher is now in police custody. Authorities are currently recording statements and an FIR against the tuition teacher is expected to be registered soon.
