The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered IMA President R V Asokan to submit physical copies of 20 editions of The Hindu newspaper which featured his apology for controversial statements.

Justices Hima Kohli and Sandeep Mehta criticized the apology for being illegible due to small font size. Senior advocate P S Patwalia, representing Asokan, has one week to file the copies.

The court remained firm on requiring clear physical copies despite Asokan's assurances that the apology had been widely published. The court's displeasure stems from Asokan's previous statements criticizing the judiciary.
