Five Palestinians were killed during an Israeli airstrike on the Nur Shams refugee camp in the occupied West Bank on Monday, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
The Israeli military stated the strike targeted a militant operations center within the camp. Troops are also blocking routes and conducting searches following abduction reports in the area.
In another incident, a Palestinian was critically injured after being shot by Israeli settlers in Wadi Rahal near Bethlehem, as reported by the Palestinian Red Crescent. The region has witnessed a sharp rise in clashes since the onset of the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza last year, resulting in numerous casualties on both sides.
