Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath on Monday lauded the state's police and governance, highlighting a significant transformation. Once considered the "worst performers," the state's police force is now a growth engine for the nation's development, offering a robust model of law and order, he stated.

Addressing the Janmashtami celebration at the reserve police lines, Adityanath emphasized the state police's commitment to work, stating they prioritize duties over profits. The Chief Minister pointed out the widespread happiness, peace, and amity now prevalent in the state, as demonstrated by the Janmashtami festivities held across numerous police stations, lines, and jails.

Adityanath connected public welfare work with virtues, citing the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita as a source of moral guidance. Reflecting on the Amrit Mahotsav, he echoed the Prime Minister's vision for a developed India by 2047 and underscored the importance of a solution-oriented approach to achieve success, stressing duty and hard work over rights.
