Two people from Kanjar were arrested for allegedly causing a newborn's death following a circumcision procedure earlier this year.
The arrests occurred on August 22, police confirmed on Sunday, although both suspects were granted bail the following Saturday.
The infant died in January from extensive bleeding post-circumcision, according to police, who initially registered a case of unnatural death. A detailed post mortem and inquiry led to the recent arrests.
