In a significant crackdown on cybercrime, the police have busted a fake call centre running out of three flats in Flora Avenue 33 society on Sohna Road. The operation led to the arrest of 20 individuals, including four women.

According to police statements made on Saturday, the accused were involved in duping foreign nationals by pretending to offer online technical support. During the raid, the police confiscated 25 mobile phones, 16 laptops, and Rs 50,000 in cash.

Following a tip-off, a cybercrime police team conducted a raid on Friday night and discovered the suspects engaged in fraudulent activities. Most were making calls using their headphones and could not provide valid OSP licenses or any other agreements related to their operations.
