Russia has declared a state of emergency in part of the Voronezh region bordering Ukraine after an overnight drone attack, announced local governor Alexander Gusev on his Telegram channel.

Gusev reported that Russian forces successfully intercepted five drones. Debris from the intercepted drones ignited a fire, causing the detonation of explosive materials.

While no civilian buildings were damaged, the incident led authorities to impose emergency measures in three settlements within the Ostrogozhsky district, resulting in the evacuation of 200 residents, according to the governor.
