Nine Additional Judges Sworn In Permanently at Allahabad High Court

On Friday, Chief Justice Arun Bhansali administered the oath to nine additional judges, making them permanent judges of the Allahabad High Court. The ceremony took place in the chief justice's courtroom and was attended by all sitting judges and numerous lawyers.

On Friday, Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court, Justice Arun Bhansali, administered the oath to nine additional judges, officially appointing them as permanent judges of the court.

Currently, out of the 160 sanctioned posts, 80 judges are serving in the Allahabad High Court, including its Lucknow Bench. The newly appointed permanent judges are Justices Syed Qamar Hasan Rizvi, Manish Kumar Nigam, Anish Kumar Gupta, Nand Prabha Shukla, Kshitij Shailendra, Vinod Diwakar, Prashant Kumar, Manjive Shukla, and Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal.

The oath-taking ceremony, held at 10 AM in the chief justice's courtroom, saw the presence of all sitting judges and a large number of lawyers. The Ministry of Law and Justice had notified the appointments on August 21.
