Bihar Police Personnel to Receive Enhanced Insurance Benefits

The Bihar Police announced on Friday that families of personnel who die in the line of duty will receive insurance benefits up to Rs 2.30 crore. The agreement with the Bank of Baroda also includes provisions for natural death, accidental death, disability, retirement benefits, education, and marriage of children.

The Bihar Police has introduced significant insurance benefits for its personnel, ensuring comprehensive coverage for those who die in the line of duty.

An agreement with the Bank of Baroda stipulates that families of deceased on-duty personnel will receive up to Rs 2.30 crore, with additional coverage for air crash victims amounting to Rs 1.50 crore.

The memorandum also includes provisions for natural death, disability benefits, special packages for retired personnel, and additional support for the children's education and daughters' marriage.
