Court Sentences Two to Life Imprisonment for Murder in 2023
A court has sentenced Akhtar Hussain and Arjun Kumar to life imprisonment for the 2023 murder of a man, after he refused to give them money for drugs. The two convicts were also fined Rs 10,000 each.

A court in Gurugram sentenced two individuals to life imprisonment for the 2023 murder of a man, police said.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Gagan Geet Kaur convicted Akhtar Hussain, a native of Rajasthan, and Arjun Kumar from Uttar Pradesh. Both were also fined Rs 10,000 each.
The crime occurred on February 3, 2023, when the victim's body was found with stab wounds under the stairs of a school near Kamla Nehru Park. The investigation revealed that Hussain and Kumar killed the victim after he refused their demand for money to buy drugs. They stole Rs 220 from the victim's pocket before fleeing the scene, according to police.
