BSF Troops Intercept Drone-Smuggled Heroin Worth Rs 15 Crore
BSF troops, alongside Rajasthan police, seized 3 kilograms of heroin valued at Rs 15 crore. The drugs were smuggled from Pakistan via a drone. The consignment was found in Raisinghnagar's fields, near the Indo-Pak border. Authorities are now searching for the smugglers.

In a significant joint operation, BSF troops, together with the Rajasthan police, have seized 3 kilograms of heroin worth Rs 15 crore, believed to have been smuggled from Pakistan using a drone.
The substantial consignment was located in the fields of 44 PS village under Sameja police station jurisdiction, near Raisinghnagar along the Indo-Pak International Border.
On the night between August 19 and 20, 2024, alert BSF troops launched the operation. A thorough search led to the recovery of the heroin from Balwant Singh Raisikh's field. Currently, efforts are ongoing to apprehend the individuals responsible for the smuggling.
