Rescue teams in Sicily are gearing up to continue the search for six missing individuals, one of whom is British tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch. A scorching storm led to the sinking of the luxury yacht 'Bayesian,' resulting in one confirmed fatality.
The incident involved several notable individuals, including Jonathan Bloomer, chairman of Morgan Stanley International, and lawyer Chris Morvillo. Both are currently unaccounted for, along with their wives, Civil Protection head Salvatore Cocina stated.
Divers reached the vessel, found at a depth of 50 meters, but faced obstructive debris. Fifteen people, including Lynch's wife Angela Bacares and a one-year-old girl, managed to escape. On Monday, the body of the yacht's chef, Ricardo Thomas, was recovered.
