Tragic Discovery: Nursing Student Found Dead in Suspected Suicide

A tragedy unfolded in New Ashok Nagar, East Delhi, as a 22-year-old nursing student was discovered dead, police said Tuesday. The young woman was found with a cannula in her hand at her PG accommodation.

On Sunday, a distressing PCR call reported that a woman was lying unconscious in her room. Upon arrival, police found the room locked from the inside. Authorities broke open the door and found her lying on her bed with IV drips hanging from the ceiling fan. A police officer confirmed the details.

The deceased, originally from Madhya Pradesh, had been sharing the room with two others who were away for Raksha Bandhan. Police are investigating the case from multiple angles as no suicide note was discovered. The body was sent to LBS Hospital mortuary, and a post-mortem will determine further details.
