In a startling revelation, former Saudi intelligence official Saad al-Jabri has accused Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of forging his father's signature on a royal decree to launch the Yemen war. Al-Jabri made these claims in an interview with the BBC.
The Saudi government has not yet responded to these allegations. Al-Jabri, who now resides in Canada, also stated that his children remain imprisoned in Saudi Arabia in a bid to compel him to return to the kingdom.
The Yemen conflict, initiated by the royal decree, has led to one of the most severe humanitarian crises, resulting in over 150,000 deaths. Al-Jabri's allegations point to serious ethical and legal implications for the Crown Prince, who continues to face criticism for his assertive leadership style.
