Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated on Saturday that his troops have fortified their positions in Russia's Kursk region, nearly two weeks into their incursion. He called on Kyiv's allies to make bold decisions to allow long-range strikes.
Ukraine claims it has taken over 80 settlements spread across 1,150 square kilometers in Kursk since August 6. This marks the most significant invasion of Russia since World War Two. According to Zelenskiy, Ukrainian forces continue to advance and capture more Russian servicemen.
