Congress Reconstitutes Law, Human Rights, and RTI Department

The Congress has reformed its Law, Human Rights, and RTI department, appointing Abhishek Manu Singhvi as chairman. The department also includes notable lawyers like Salman Khurshid, KTS Tulsi, and Vivek Tankha. A proposal for this restructuring was approved by Congress president Mallikajun Kharge.

The Congress on Saturday announced a major restructuring of its Law, Human Rights, and RTI department, appointing Abhishek Manu Singhvi as chairman.

Other notable lawyers in the department include Salman Khurshid, KTS Tulsi, and Vivek Tankha. Congress president Mallikajun Kharge has approved the reconstitution proposal, as confirmed by a party statement.

Besides Singhvi, the panel includes Harin Raval, Prashanto Sen, Devdatt Kamath, and Vipul Maheshwari, with Muhammad Ali Khan as secretary. The executive panel features members such as Aman Panwar, Omar Hoda, and others.
