A Hamas guard, angered by the news of his two children's death in an Israeli strike, killed an Israeli hostage on Monday, the group's armed wing spokesperson disclosed.
'The act was in revenge and goes against the brigade's standing orders,' stated Abu Ubaida of al-Qassam Brigades, in a Thursday Telegram post.
Ubaida emphasized that the incident does not align with the group's ethical standards.
