Rajasthan Man Detained for Triple Talaq and Bigamy Accusations

A 35-year-old man from Rajasthan named Rehman has been detained for allegedly giving triple talaq to his wife, Farida Bano, over the phone from Kuwait before marrying a Pakistani woman he met on social media. An FIR was filed against him for dowry harassment and the triple talaq incident.

In a recent development, authorities detained a 35-year-old man from Rajasthan, identified as Rehman, for reportedly divorcing his wife, Farida Bano, through triple talaq over the phone from Kuwait.

According to officials, Rehman subsequently married a Pakistani woman named Mehwish, whom he met on social media, in Saudi Arabia.

Farida Bano filed an FIR last month, alleging dowry harassment and illegal divorce. Rehman, who worked in the transport sector in Kuwait, was detained upon his arrival at Jaipur airport and arrested after initial questioning, DSP Ranveer Singh confirmed.
