Pintaru also faces charges for the possession of a bladed article, the police confirmed. The incident, which took place on Monday, left the young girl seriously injured, although her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Initial reports had suggested that the girl's 34-year-old mother was also injured, but police later clarified that the mother's involvement was a misunderstanding caused by the confusion at the scene, as her daughter's blood was mistakenly believed to be her own injuries.
