In a significant breakthrough, Madhya Pradesh police have apprehended three members of the notorious Kadiya gang, accused of stealing a bag of jewellery valued at Rs 1.45 crore during a wedding at a luxurious hotel in Jaipur.

The incident occurred on August 8, prompting the Rajgarh police to mobilize seven teams for a 48-hour operation based on intelligence from Jaipur police, according to Additional Director General of Police Jaideep Prasad.

The gang, identified through CCTV footage, was tracked to a kanwar yatra and subsequently nabbed, leading to the recovery of the stolen valuables and the arrest of two other gang members.
