SHO Found Dead at Official Residence in Bihar’s Sheikhpura District

The Station House Officer (SHO) of Mission Police Station in Bihar’s Sheikhpura district, Balmukund Rai, was discovered dead at his official residence. Initially found unconscious by staff members, Rai was declared dead at the hospital. The cause of death is uncertain, with cardiac arrest being a suspected reason.

According to the police, Rai was found lying unconscious at his residence around 11 pm on Friday by fellow staff members. He was immediately transported to the nearest government hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival. The exact cause of death remains unknown.

Sheikhpura Superintendent of Police (SP) Baliram Kumar Choudhary informed reporters that the exact cause of Rai's death would be determined from the post-mortem report. 'Prima facie, it appears he might have died due to cardiac arrest. The matter is under investigation,' he added. Rai's body has been handed over to his family members.
