Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo conducted a crucial meeting on Saturday to outline the renovation plan for Legislative Assembly complexes in Jammu and Srinagar, aiming to prepare them for upcoming elections.
The meeting took place a day after an Election Commission team, including Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, concluded their review of the Union Territory.
Dulloo stressed the urgent need for refurbishing sound systems, lifts, Internet connectivity, and fire safety measures. Preparatory actions for the chambers and officials' accommodations were also discussed to ensure a seamless electoral process.
