Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav has sharply criticized the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, calling it a tactic by the BJP to sell land for the benefit of its members.
Yadav claimed that the BJP is operating like a real estate company and even suggested it should rename itself to 'Bharatiya Zameen Party'.
Yadav also asserted that the amendment aims to privatize defense, railway, and Nazul lands, along with Waqf board properties, as part of a broader scheme favoring BJP members.
