Mumbai Murder Mystery: Deaf and Mute Man Killed Over Fight

Mumbai police are delving into the murder case of Arshad Ali Sadique Ali Shaikh, a speech and hearing impaired man, after discovering a video showing the victim being assaulted. The video is currently under examination, according to an official statement on Wednesday.
Two suspects, Shivjeet Singh and Jay Chawda, both also speech and hearing impaired, have been detained. It is believed that one of them made a video call during the incident. They have been remanded in police custody until August 12 by a local court.
The case came to the forefront on Monday when a Railway Protection Force constable found a man with a large trolley bag at Dadar station. Upon inspection, Shaikh's body was discovered inside the bag. The police have revealed that the murder was a result of a confrontation over a woman, with Shaikh being fatally attacked with a hammer. The investigation is ongoing.
