Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveiled three groundbreaking criminal laws on Sunday, describing them as the most significant reform in India's judiciary in the 21st century.

These laws—Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA)—aim to modernize India's criminal justice system, making it one of the most technologically equipped in the world.

Shah also launched four apps, including e-evidence and e-Summon, to support these laws. Technology inclusion ensures judgments up to the Supreme Court within three years. Chandigarh will be the pilot for 100% implementation within two months.
