Mumbai police have officially charged Congress MLA Zeeshan Siddique and seven other individuals for obstructing Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) officials tasked with conducting a survey in Bandra.
According to police, the incident occurred on Thursday afternoon at Dnyaneshwar Nagar in Bandra East, where the accused intervened, hindering the officials from performing their duties.
A formal complaint lodged by SRA officials has resulted in a case being registered at Kherwadi police station. Siddique, a first-time MLA representing Bandra East, is under investigation alongside his associates for obstructing public servants.
