Vladimir Kara-Murza, a dual Russian-British national jailed on treason charges for 25 years, has been relocated from his prison in Siberia, according to Russia's prison service, FSIN.

Kara-Murza, previously held at the IK-6 penal colony in Omsk, is being sent to an undisclosed location, FSIN told Reuters.

In recent days, several Russian dissidents and opponents of Moscow's war in Ukraine have vanished from Russian prisons, leading rights activists to predict an impending prisoner swap with the West.
