Tragic Accident Sparks Protest on Delhi-Jaipur Highway
A 17-year-old kanwariya was killed and two others were injured when a truck hit their motorcycle on the Delhi-Jaipur highway early Wednesday. The accident sparked protests, leading to the highway being blocked. Police intervened, and an FIR has been filed against the fleeing truck driver.

A tragic accident early Wednesday morning resulted in the death of a 17-year-old kanwariya and critical injuries to two of his associates when a speeding truck collided with their motorcycle on the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
The accident, which occurred around 2:50 am, spurred immediate protests by other kanwariyas who blocked the highway at both ends. The deceased was identified as Hemant en route to Kotputli in Rajasthan.
Senior police officers arrived at the scene and managed to talk the protesters into reopening the road. An FIR has been registered against the truck driver, who fled the scene immediately after the accident.
