In a revealing development, local law enforcement officers and a U.S. Secret Service agent discussed the distribution of photos of the shooter involved in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. This conversation was captured on a newly released video, shedding light on the events that transpired.

The three-minute footage, taken from the body-worn camera of an officer from the Beaver County Emergency Services Unit, showcases the officials discussing the sequence of events on July 13. The video, released by U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, features the officers and a Secret Service agent on a rooftop near the gunman's body, Thomas Crooks, an hour post-attack.

Thomas Crooks, a 20-year-old nursing-home aide, managed to fire eight bullets before a Secret Service sniper neutralized him. Crooks killed one individual and seriously injured two others, including Trump who was wounded in his right ear. The motive behind the attack remains unknown, although Crooks had a history of researching infamous assassins. In light of this incident, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned on Tuesday.
