Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva has strongly refuted charges by Delhi minister Atishi that the Union Budget has betrayed the capital, accusing the AAP of misleading city residents.
In a press conference, Sachdeva asserted that the Delhi government falsely claimed a reduction in the health budget, highlighting a 12.59 percent increase in allocation instead.
Sachdeva pointed out that the Union government has already invested Rs 30,000 crore on projects to alleviate traffic issues, with another Rs 35,000 crore investment underway, and criticized AAP's alleged inaction on the Pradhan Mantri AWAS Yojana. He argued that numerous central government initiatives are benefitting Delhi but remain unacknowledged by the AAP.
