Authorities in Rajasthan's Churu district have demolished an allegedly illegal house belonging to Vivek Bhambhu, an accused in the Rajasthan sub-inspector recruitment exam paper leak case, officials reported on Tuesday.

The Churu Municipal Council executed the demolition on Monday night, ensuring tight security throughout the process.

'The construction was done illegally by Vivek Bhambhu, who is under arrest for involvement in the SI paper leak case. The structure was demolished on Monday,' confirmed Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar.

The operation was managed by a municipal council team, headed by assistant engineer Ravi Raghav, targeting alleged illegal structures on plot numbers 114 and 115 in Poonia Colony.

The case is currently under investigation by the Special Operations Group of Rajasthan Police, which has arrested several suspects, including trainee sub-inspectors.
